Air Astana First Officer Recruitment

Air Astana is the flag carrier of the Republic of Kazakhstan, based in Almaty. It operates scheduled, domestic and international services on 64 routes from its main hub, Almaty International Airport, and from its secondary hub, Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport.

First Officer:

• ICAO CPL with ATPL theory credit (as applicable)
• Minimum flight hours 200
• Valid Multi engine and Instrument rating
• MCC certificate (preferably)
• Class 1 medical
• ICAO English level 4
• Minimum age 19 years
• Maximum age 34 years

First Officer Qualified on Type:

• Current and valid ICAO ATPL or CPL with ATPL theory credit and Type-Rating endorsed.
• Minimum flight hours 1500.
• Minimum 500 hours on type.
• Class 1 medical.
• ICAO English level 4.
• Maximum age 45 years.
• Have flown the type within the last twelve (12) months and have a current LPC.
• Applicants who do not meet the 12 month recency requirement, but have flown the type within the last 36 months, may be considered taking in to account their overall experience and professional background.

First Officer Not Qualified on Type with no experience

• Current and valid ICAO ATPL or CPL with ATPL theory credit.
• Minimum flight hours 400.
• Minimum 200 hours on Multiengine, Multi-Crew aeroplanes.
• Class 1 medical.
• ICAO English level 4.
• Maximum age 45 years.
• Have flown a Multiengine, Multi-Crew aeroplane within the last six (6) months. Applicants, who do not meet this requirement, may be considered, taking in to account their overall experience and professional background.
