AirAsia Cadet Pilot Program (2024)

AirAsia cadet pilot program is now open!

The minimum selection requirements are as follows:

Essential Criteria:

• Malaysian Citizen
• Aged Between 18 to 28 years in the year of application
• Minimum Height of 158cm
• Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Healthy BMI of not more than 30
• Distant visual acuity of 6/9 or better in each eye
• Binocular visual acuity of 6/6 or better
• Refractive error of 5 diopters or less (final approval is subject to a medical doctor/ AirAsia Ophthalmologist Report)

Academic Qualifications:

1. Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia or equivalent
   • Grade A in Mathematics and English
   • Grade B in Physics or A in General Science
   • Grade B in any other two subjects
2. Degree Pre-Requisites
   (Recognized by the Ministry of Education Malaysia)
   • Engineering / Science-related discipline
   • CGPA 3.0 and above
   • SPM with grade B in 5 subjects which must include English, Mathematics, and Science

Please note that this Cadet Pilot Program focuses on inducting cadets that will be assigned to flying school to begin the piloting course. By responding to this opportunity, we note your interest to participate in this program.
