airBaltic Cadet Pilot Program

airBaltic Training Pilot Academy offers training programme to develop your European aviation transport pilot licence (“Frozen” EASA ATPL) within approximately 18 months, with no previous aviation education or experience required. For selected candidates a pilot job will be guaranteed at airBaltic immediately after selection.

Requirements:

• 18 years or older
• High school graduate
• Health meets Class 1 Medical Certificate requirements that are published by the European Aviation Safety Agency
• Good English knowledge
• If loan required, clear credit history
• No criminal record
• Ability to swim

Selection process:

• Consolidation of application documents
• Group tasks on Pilot Academy premises
• Physical exercise and health capacity evaluation
• Assessment of financial solvency or credit worthiness assessment
• Individual assessment of skills and capacities
• Final interview and decision

Application:

• CV prepared in English
• Motivation letter (200 words max.) prepared in English
• Responses to two questions (100 words each max.) prepared in English: What are the main characteristics and qualities of an excellent pilot?/ What I have done that makes me a good candidate?
• High school statement of grades (including physics, maths, English)
• Results of the centralized or equivalent exams, if available
• English knowledge certificate, if available
