Helvetic Airways Cadet Program

Helvetic Airways gives young “Ab Initio Pilots” the chance for a special and unique opportunity. Already during the pilot education they will get special support. Our goal is to get to know the possible future colleagues very early in their aviation history. For this reason Helvetic Airways offers the Airline Pilot Cadet Program in cooperation with Horizon Swiss Flight Academy AG. After the successful completion of the program, the candidate will be positive hire as co-pilot and Helvetic Airways will issue an employment contract within 12 months.

The possibilities during the education are:

• Jumpseat flights
• Ground training with rated crew members

The minimum qualification and experience are:

• Age at least 20, maximum 40
• Medical Class 1
• Good and responsible personality
• Successful Horizon entry assessment or SPHAIR candidates with recommendation for commercial pilot
• Swiss Citizen or EU-25/EFTA with working permit B
• Good German knowledge
• Completed initial military or civil service if applicable
• Positive background check (criminal record)
