Jetstar Japan A320 First Officer (Non-JCAB License Holder)

Jetstar Japan is now hiring suitably qualified First Officers for our Japanese operations. Japan remains one of the fastest growing aviation markets in the world and Jetstar Japan is a key part of the Jetstar’s Asia Pacific network. JJP is currently the largest Low Cost Carrier in Japan operating a fleet of 25 Airbus A320’s and we are aiming to increase a number of aircraft up to 28 by 2022.

Please Note:

For the screening process, you will be required to come to Japan for 3 – 5 days to complete all assessments that includes SIM evaluation, medical check and interview.

Eligibility: All of the following must be satisfied.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must hold a current ATPL (ICAO/EASA/FAA)
  • ICAO level 4 or above English language proficiency
  • Current Class 1 Medical Certificate

Current A320 Type Rating Holders:

  • Flight Time: Minimum 2000 hours total aeronautical experience on fixed-wing aircraft
  • PIC: Minimum 250 hours or at least 180 hours pilot in command under supervision and least 70 hours pilot in command
  • Minimum 1000 hours on the A320 family

Non A320 Type Rating Holders:

  • Flight Time: Minimum 3000 hours total aeronautical experience on fixed-wing aircraft
  • PIC: Minimum 250 hours or at least 180 hours pilot in command under supervision and least 70 hours pilot in command
  • Minimum 1000 hours jet time in an Airline

Benefits:

  • Productivity pay after 60 hours per month
  • Commuting allowance
  • Housing allowance
  • Layover allowance
  • Annual leave: 20 days per year
  • Sick leave: 24 days per year
  • Staff travel (after 6 months of service)

During training: 100 % of base salary

Roster: Minimum 10 days off per month.

Commuting rosters: Current policy of 10 consecutive days off per month

Taxes: tax is Japan is dependable on income level and factors as dependents, ranges from 5% to 40%.

Assessment Procedure:

After document screening:

Online video interview, Online psychometric test, Assessment in Japan (Medical, Interview and SIM).

Flight and accommodation will be provided for the assessment.
