Boeing unveils 777x flight deck, the unique feature of the flight deck is the wing-fold control that crews will use to stow and deploy the jet’s movable wingtips.
For takeoff, the crew will use a switch on the overhead panel to manually deploy the wingtips to be down and locked., and in normal operation mode crew will select auto/fold function, which will automatically fold the wingtips upward when the aircraft speed is below the set limit after touchdown.
This 777x schedule to flight flight on Q1 2019, expect to deliver on December 2019.
