Singapore Airlines Direct Entry First Officer

Singapore Airlines is recruiting Direct Entry First Officers. To apply, you will need to meet the following requirements:

• Possesses a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate, recognized or can be validated by Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS)
• Holds a valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL), or Commercial Pilot Licence with Multi-Engine Aircraft Instrument Rating (CPL/MEIR) with frozen ATPL, recognized or can be validated by CAAS. • 1500 total multi-crew flying hours on Airbus/Boeing aircraft. Candidates with less than 1500 but more than 700 hours on these aircraft may be shortlisted based on merit, and may be put through a longer training programme if successful.
• Able to speak and understand English with ICAO English Level 4 for inflight radio-telephony communications
• Minimum height requirement of 1.62m to carry out safety and emergency procedures on board

Selection Process:

Applicants will undergo various stages during the recruitment process including (but not limited to) online application, computer assessment test, interviews, simulator assessment and medical check-up.

Successful candidates will be placed on either the B747, B777 or B787 fleet.
Candidates’ previous flying experience may be considered for command upgrade.

Training:

Where applicable, successful candidates will be trained to acquire an Aircraft Type Rating.

Bond:

Successful candidates who are provided with type rating training will be required to enter a training bond.
