AirAsia X is the world’s first truly long haul, low-cost carrier. It is an extension of AirAsia’s leading short-haul, low-cost carrier, AirAsia seeks to deliver everyday low fares to travellers seeking to visit destination greater than four hours flight tim from Malaysia on the larger Airbus A330, A340 and A350 fleets.
Our cabin crew will take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety and well-being of passengers under both normal and emergency circumstances, while attending to our passengers’ needs and comfort throughout the entire flight.
Job Description:
- Accountable to the aircraft commander
- Educate passengers on the aircraft’s safety procedures
- Perform sale on duty-free goods, merchandises, as well as food and beverages
- Reassure passengers and ensure that they comply to safety procedures during emergencies
- Responsible to carry out the commander’s instructions and assist him in the safe operation of the aircraft
- Carry out pre-flight duties including checking the onboard safety equipment, ensuring the interior of the aircraft is clean, tidy and in orderly manner
- Attend to passengers’ inquires
- Report any safety irregularities to the commander
- Ensure passengers disembark safely at the end of the flight
Minimum Requirements:
- Height:
- Female: min. 157cm
- Male: min. 170cm
- Education: SPM Credit in Bahasa Malaysia & English (similar alternative qualifications such as a TOEIC score of 650 and above, valid for 2 years/ a British Council certificate are also accepted)
- Graduates from any disciplines are encouraged to apply

- Possess a positive attitude with the natural ability to provide excellent service working within a team environment, & dealing with people from all cultures.
