Role Purpose

To exercise the final authority in relation to the safety and security of the aircraft.

Key Accountability

Responsible for the safety and security of the aircraft, crew, passengers and cargo once the aircraft’s doors are closed and move for the purpose of taking off until engines are shut down at the end of the flight.

Shall have final authority as to the disposition of the aircraft while in command and for the maintenance of discipline by all persons on board.
Ensure compliance for all operational procedures and checklist depicted in the Operations Manual and Regulatory requirements.

Ensure aircraft’s airworthiness and/or maintenance status met the operational and regulatory requirements.

Ensure all operating crew has a valid license/document and rating prior operating an aircraft.

Qualification

Others – Hold valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
and appropriate rating
Others – Hold minimum Level 4 English Proficiency certificate

Working Experience

3 – Meet hours requirements as stated in Operation Manual

>15 – Minimum age of 25 years old

Skills & Knowledge

Passed all related Command Course and Training.

Attended Command Development and Leadership Course.

Comprehensive knowledge on company operational procedures and all regulatory requirements.
